First, open up the hood of your car. You then want to use an AC gauge to determine the root of the problem. such gauges are inexpensive. You can stick it on the low side pressure fitting. If the gauge reads zero, this means that there is a refrigerant leak somewhere. To locate the leak, you can use ultraviolet leak dye. Let the system run for a few minutes and then wait ten minutes. Now you can use the ultraviolet light to find the leak.
